As a mum, it is my shared responsibility to raise my children to the best of my ability. Sometimes this ability of mine is flawless, and at other times I think I could do better. Or could I, seemingly if I could, then surely I would. So probably this is me at my best.
At the end of the day, I spread myself as evenly as I can between my three children, my husband, my friends, my committments and my work. Like most other mothers, this leaves me exhausted. The Juggle Struggle. A good title for how we manage all of our lifes responsibilites into each day.
At present, I have completed 3 childrens book drafts, yes I have been busy. Generally in the same theme as I have enjoyed in the past. Books with a purpose. Books that engage and entertain whilst teaching our young ones.
One is in illustration mode, and I cannot wait to see what my incredible illustrator comes up with.
The second is awaiting a boot to life. This is a book that is truly special and is something I am happy to show some patience whilst I wait for it to recieve its breath of life.
The third is just adorable. I met this amazing woman whilst traveling to Tasmania in January and we connected immediatley. She is my kind of person. She is also an artist with a beautifully unique and eclectic style. I was thrilled when she asked that I use her paintings to write a childrens book. The words seemed to flow and I am really excited to see what comes of this one.
There is also a forth. Though not a childrens book, this is my first novel. Time will tell if it may be great or completely rubbish, but I kind of love it so I continue dedicating a portion of my juggle struggle towards it.
